I am an integrative person-centred therapist. I offer a safe, supportive and confidential relationship that enables you to feel listened to, accepted and understood. I offer a space in which you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings around any difficulties you may face, and drawing on your inner resources find a new way forward.
Therapy can enable us to discover more about ourselves. It can help us seething more clearly, sometimes perhaps from a different perspective, and to find new ways of coping with the problems we may be facing. It can also help us to find emotional healing.
I have experience of working with a wide range of problems including depression, chronic pain, anxiety, stress, loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, the impact of abuse or trauma, self- harm, relationship difficulties and spiritual issues.
I hold a degree in Nursing and a Higher Education Diploma in Counselling. I am currently a Counselling Skills Facilitator in Bristol.
I am a registered NCS accredited therapist, receive regular supervision of my work and am involved in on-going professional development.
I’m originally from Perth, Australia and am a married mother of two teenage boys. I love being outdoors especially beside the sea, wood and mountains.
The cost of the initial meeting is £10. My fee for a 60-minute appointment is £40. I may be able to offer a discount for student counsellors and people on low incomes.
