Thornbury Osteopaths opened for business in 1990 and has been open continually ever since.
Many people who suffer from low back pain, neck pain, sporting injuries, repetitive strain injuries and other aches and pains are confused about the range of treatments available.
Is it best to rest, exercise, see an osteopath, receive acupuncture, take medication, do Pilates, or visit your GP? Everyone seems to have an opinion, but what are the facts?
Treatments at Thornbury Osteopaths are recommended by the National Institute for health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the NHS; here at Thornbury Osteopaths we follow the scientific evidence and treat conditions according to the best practice. We want patients to understand their problems and to be able to manage themselves correctly. We do not encourage long courses of treatment or dependency on treatment.
Broadly speaking, personal recommendation still remains the best way to choose a practice. Ask friends, neighbours and colleagues who they have seen and whether it was helpful. Word of mouth is still the most reliable way of getting the service which you need. Here at Thornbury Osteopaths we have a strong reputation of over 25 years service to the community.
